How open is our culture to recreation and sports? The popular culture today is saturated with recreation and sports, each time these events are held, they capture the imaginations of millions of people in America. Kimball employs a wealth of source material including periodicals, diaries, journals, personal papers, and institutional record to illuminate this hitherto underexplored aspect of the LDS church.
